The Art Supplies Shop of The Learning Connexion is both an on-site and online facility, selling a wide variety of materials to students onsite and to the public via this website.
The Learning Connexion is a tertiary school of creativity and art, teaching transferable creativity through art making. Based in the Hutt Valley near Wellington, New Zealand, we offer a blend of on-site, study from home, full-time and part-time study options.
The Learning Connexion offers an extensive range of classes in the visual arts – from video to bronze-casting, computer graphics to painting, sculpture to photography. Through our programmes students gain a thorough grounding in visual arts, an understanding of the principles of creativity and how these can apply to other areas of their life.
Depending on the programme, students receive either a level 4, 5, 6 or 7 New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) qualification in Art & Creativity. A Level 7 NZQA qualification is equivalent to a three year university degree. NZQA ensures that New Zealand qualifications are reliable, robust and recognised both nationally and internationally.
